Bach Bash!

One of my very best friend's, Emilie, is getting MARRIED in a couple of weeks and I wanted to share some fun pictures I took at her bachelorette party. It was a beautiful summer weekend in August in breathtaking Door County, WI. Eight girls. Two nights. And a lot of food and wine. We had fun to say the least.

Emilie and I have been close since middle school and I am so thankful our friendship has stood through high school, college and (on my end) moving to 3 separate states. I want to quickly share the story of how Emilie and her S.O. (Phil) met, because I like to take credit for introducing them. On 4th of July weekend in 2014, we had all graduated college and were back home in Madison looking for jobs. This particular weekend, I reached out to my good friend Joe to see if he would like to join myself and some friends at Madison's Shake the Lake. He agreed and said he would be bringing his friend Phil (who I also went to college with and knew for a couple years). They both showed up to Emilie's downtown apartment and we took off for the festival. I noticed Em and Phil hitting it off and that was it. Now, 5 years later, they are tying the knot and I get to stand up with two of my favorite people as they vow to love each other forever.

October 12th can't come soon enough! Love you, Em!
